Overview
The South Lake Democratic Club is focused on three key goals: electing Democrats to local and state office, re-enrolling voters in vote-by-mail, and advocating for Democratic values through public education and community outreach. These priorities reflect the club’s commitment to building grassroots power, increasing voter participation, and strengthening its presence in the community through active, informed, and energized members.
Mission Statement: The South Lake Democratic Club is dedicated to promoting Democratic values, supporting Democratic candidates, and empowering voters in our community. We strive to foster civic engagement, expand participation in the democratic process, and advocate for policies that promote equity, justice, and opportunity for all. Through education, outreach, and grassroots action, we work to build a stronger, more inclusive South Lake County.

Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and fund our mission.
Electing Democrats in local and state elections is essential to protecting our communities, our freedoms, and our future. Local offices shape everyday life—schools, housing, infrastructure, public safety, and environmental protections—while state leaders set policies that affect healthcare access, voting rights, personal freedoms, and economic opportunity. With one party dominating Florida government, Democratic leadership brings balance, accountability, and people-first solutions. By electing Democrats, we ensure decisions are guided by fairness, inclusion, and respect for democracy—and that Florida works for everyone, not just the powerful few.
Florida law now requires voters to re-enroll regularly to keep their Vote-by-Mail (VBM) status, making re-enrollment critical for maintaining access to this secure and convenient voting option. Vote-by-Mail has long helped working families, seniors, caregivers, and people with disabilities participate consistently in elections, including local and down-ballot races that often shape daily life. Ensuring Democratic voters re-enroll helps prevent ballots from being missed, reduces Election Day barriers, and protects voter participation in a state where election rules change frequently. Re-enrollment is a simple step that helps keep voices heard and democracy accessible in every election.
The South Lake Democratic Club educates, engages, and listens to our community. Through outreach, issue discussions, and public education, we connect with voters, share how policies and elections affect daily life, and foster two-way conversations that build trust, encourage participation, and strengthen our commitment to fairness.
