Door to Door Lit Drop in the Greater Clermont Area – October 12, 19, 26

Join the South Lake Democrats going Door to Door in the Greater Clermont Area dropping slate cards of our candidates and more. We will not be knocking on doors.

We will meet at 9 AM at the Cooper Memorial Hospital, 2525 Oakley Seaver Drive (Located at the Lake-Sumter State College, South Lake Campus). You will receive an email or call informing you of the location before the lit drop.

Join the South Lake Democrats honoring the next President and Vice President of the US, Kamala Harris & Tim Walz and more for a RALLY. Signs will be available or bring your own.

We will meet Wed. Oct. 16, 7:15-9AM to catch the morning commute at the corner of E. Hwy 50 & N. Hancock Rd. in Clermont. Parking is available. Look for the side of the road where the Harris/Walz signs are.

Bring a hat, sunscreen & water!

Stop by for a sign. We will have Harris/Walz signs available for a donation as well as Debbie Mucarsel-Powell & Barbie Harden Hall lawn signs.

Make a Difference – Volunteer to Make Calls – Phonebanking        

If you are interested in making a difference, consider making phone calls from the comfort of your home for the Lake County Democrats.  3 different phone banks and their purpose are listed below.
 
If you are an experienced phone banker you should be all set to go.  
 
For those that are new to this, you will need your computer and your phone.  The link will have you set up an action ID so you can access the phone bank.  Pat K. is available to train you, which can be done over the phone. 3 teams of South Lake Dems canvassed in Minneola for Harris Walz on 9/7.  The South Lake Dems are canvassing again on 9/14 and 9/21.

 

   

We had a really good turnout for the 9/4 rally.  Our South Lake Dem sign and flag wavers moved to the corner of Hwy 50 and Hancock Road.  There was a very positive response from the passing cars.

South Lake Democrats participated in the July 4th Mt. Dora Parade.  Also, Red, White and Boom at Clermont’s Waterfront Park with fireworks was a success with many visiting our tent. We thank Kim & Louis from 4 Corners Clermont Democratic Club for their assistance working the tent.
