Join the 4 Corners Clermont Democratic Club tomorrow night at 6:30 for a virtual meet and greet with Barbie Harden Hall, candidate for US Congress Dist 11.

Door Knocking for Harris-Walz  – September 14 and 21

You are invited to join the S. Lake Dems meeting local Democrats at their door in Minneola and talk about the need to sign up for Vote-by-Mail and vote for Kamala/Walz, our next President and Vice President. We will be knocking on the doors of Warm Democrats who vote most of the time; however, have not signed up for Vote-by-Mail. If you have never door-knocked before you will be paired with a seasoned person. Come out and meet fellow Democrats. Let’s get to work.

We will be door knocking in a different area TBD for the 9/14 & 9/21 areas. You will be notified of the meeting place. All materials needed to canvass will be provided. Bring sun screen and water.

Make a Difference – Volunteer to Make Calls – Phonebanking        

If you are interested in making a difference, consider making phone calls from the comfort of your home for the Lake County Democrats.  3 different phone banks and their purpose are listed below.
 
If you are an experienced phone banker you should be all set to go.  
 
For those that are new to this, you will need your computer and your phone.  The link will have you set up an action ID so you can access the phone bank.  Pat K. is available to train you, which can be done over the phone. South Lake Dems Harris-Walz Rally and Canvassing

3 teams of South Lake Dems canvassed in Minneola for Harris Walz on 9/7.  The South Lake Dems are canvassing again on 9/14 and 9/21.

 

   

We had a really good turnout for the 9/4 rally.  Our South Lake Dem sign and flag wavers moved to the corner of Hwy 50 and Hancock Road.  There was a very positive response from the passing cars.

South Lake Democrats participated in the July 4th Mt. Dora Parade.  Also, Red, White and Boom at Clermont’s Waterfront Park with fireworks was a success with many visiting our tent. We thank Kim & Louis from 4 Corners Clermont Democratic Club for their assistance working the tent.
